Stealing is bad. Entrapment is also bad. That's exactly what the police did when they set up bait trucks filled with Nikes in underprivileged neighborhoods in Chicago. The poorly thought out sting was so bad, the company that planted the trucks, Norfolk Southern, had to issue an apology after a public outcry from activists and the ACLU. At least there was some silver lining to come out of this shit show. Vic Mensa and the SaveMoneySaveLife Foundation flipped the situation on its ear with an "Anti-Bait Truck" event that gave away thousands of sneakers in the same neighborhoods. It's good to know there's people out there who do more than complain about something that's wrong, but actually do something about it.
