Vic Mensa Giving Away 13,000 Pairs of Sneakers in Response to Bait Truck Sting

Responding to the controversial sneaker bait truck sting operation conducted in Englewood, Chicago, area native Vic Mensa is giving away thousands of shoes to locals.

Following news of the bait truck sting conducted in the Englewood neighborhood of Chicago, aimed at luring locals into boarding the truck to steal Nike sneakers, Southside native Vic Mensa and his organization are holding an Anti-Bait Truck event this Sunday.

Mensa and the SaveMoneySaveLife Foundation have collected more than 13,000 pairs of sneakers that will be given away free of charge to attendees at the West Englewood Community Center, located on the same block that the sting operation took place. Those not in the area can make a donation via SaveMoneySaveLife's Amazon Wish List.
