Nike has plenty of new Air Max 1 releases planned for this year’s Air Max Day (March 26) celebrations, this time via the new “Wabi-sabi” colorway shown here.
Thanks to @Riehata on Instagram is a first look at the forthcoming “Wabi-sabi” Nike Air Max 1. This makeup not only features a special “3.26” tongue tag for Air Max Day but also features an “XXXV” embroidery on the heel counter as a nod to the shoe’s 35th anniversary. Rounding out the pair is a midsole that comes with a pre-cracked look and a gum outsole.
This “Wabi-sabi” makeup uses the same name as the ancient Japanese ideology, which focuses on finding beauty within the imperfections of life.
As of now, the release details for this “Wabi-sabi” Air Max 1 haven’t been announced by Nike but the pair is expected to hit shelves around Air Max Day. Keep it locked to Sole Collector for new developments including a detailed look in the coming days.
