Last August, John Elliott's collaborative Nike silhouette, the LeBron Icon, released to the public. In the months following, new colorways were spotted on the feet of people like Elliott and LeBron James, but no more pairs have made their way to retail since the initial drop. That could change in 2019 because the Los Angeles designer just debuted a brand new pair of the model during his Fall/Winter 2019 runway show at New York Fashion Week over the weekend.
The latest colorway features a gold translucent upper with white detailing. The basketball-inspired lifestyle model sits atop the midsole tooling of the LeBron 8, Elliott's favorite King James signature model. Minimal branding hits come in the form of an embroidered Swoosh on the toe and sideways Nike Air logo on the tongue.
An official release date for the gold John Elliott x Nike LeBron Icon has yet to be revealed. Stay tuned as more details become available. In the meantime, take a closer look at the brand new pair below.
