When Virgil Abloh's "The Ten" collection with Nike first released in late 2017, one pair was noticeably absent from the lineup. This morning, Abloh's recreated Converse Chuck 70 finally dropped to complete the first collection. Nike SNKRS accounts holders who decided to check their e-mail early this morning were blessed with a welcome message saying that the pair would be dropping at 9 a.m. ET.Â
As with the rest of Abloh's collection, this pair was limited and difficult to acquire. In fact, it's already sold out online—no surprise there. Originally, it was rumored that the Off-White x Converse Chuck 70 would be releasing on Saturday, May 12. It is unclear at the moment if that drop date will hold for other select boutiques stocking the pair, or if the Nike SNKRS launch was the only one.Â
