Adidas' basketball-inspired Crazy BYW sneaker has already birthed a handful of colorful collabs with Pharrell Williams, but things have been relatively quiet for the core model since its debut earlier this year. However, fans of the sneaker will soon have new looks to choose from as summer approaches.
Confirmed for a Thursday, May 24 release through retailers including SneakerBaas is a "Black/Orange/High Res Red" colorway which blends a black Primeknit upper with a grey tongue an overlays alongside contrasting orange lace loops. Down low, the segmented Boost midsole is split into white in the forefoot and black in the heel.
Meanwhile, on Friday, June 1, adidas.com and other stockists will launch a new "Core Black/Cloud White/Bright Red" colorway. This makeup sticks with color blocking similar to the debut Crazy BYW, but swaps that style's purple heel tab with a red shade that also appears at the tip of the outsole.
Both upcoming Adidas Crazy BYW colorways will retail for $170.
