During All-Star Weekend, Nick Young of the Golden State Warriors sat down with Sole Collector to talk switching to Adidas basketball, wearing Yeezys on court, and a possible collab between himself and Kanye West—a shoe he can already see himself wearing for the NBA Finals.
"I've been talkin' to him about it," Young said. "With Kanye, it's just going to be unique. It'll be something different, probably have a thick sole, and a tongue on the shoe or somethin'. Hopefully, it’s in the Finals or somethin'."
While it may seem a little early to be planning his Finals footwear, the Golden State Warriors did take home an NBA Championship last year, are currently only a half-game out of first place in the Western Conference, and still a favorite to win it all in 2018.
"I told 'em man, we gotta be ahead of the curve for when this date come. Kanya gotta' be courtside, got 'em on. Prolly one side say 'Yeezy,' and one side say 'Swaggy.'"
