Considering that Nick Young was the first player to ever attempt hooping in a pair of Yeezys in an NBA game, it only seems right that he now holds claim to being the first to play in the Yeezy 500—a shoe that's actually somewhat suited to the hardwood.

Young laced up the "Blush" colorway of the 500 for tonight's matchup against the New York Knicks in a 125-111 win for the Warriors. Unlike the Yeezy 750s Young had previously played in, which were designed from the ground up as a lifestyle sneaker, the 500 has basketball roots. The shoe's tooling originally appeared on Kobe Bryant's signature Adidas KB8 3.

From a numbers perspective, Young turned in a rather unremarkable 3 points in 14 minutes of action, but his swag was on 500 for the night.
