The shoe gets help from Japanese streetwear brand Neighborhood, which also has a long history of Adidas projects. Neighborhood's skull and crossbones logo appears on the heel of the right shoe, with Bape's simian head landing on the same spot on the left shoe.
The Bape x Neighborhood x Adidas Superstar Boost has drop-in Boost cushioning and a sock-like Primeknit collar.
Per Adidas, this collaboration will release in limited numbers on Feb. 4. Note that the shoe is not part of Adidas' Sneaker Exchange program.
