With NFL players permitted to wear custom cleats in support of a cause or charity last week, Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver Dorial Green-Beckham made headlines when he wore Yeezy cleats in support of the nonexistent "Yeezy Foundation." The joke went over well with reporters, but the NFL wasn't too happy about Green-Beckham taking advantage of the #MyCauseMyCleats initiative.
ESPN reports that the NFL has fined Green-Beckham $6,000 for wearing the unapproved Yeezy cleats, consistent with the fine Houston Texans wideout DeAndre Hopkins received for wearing the same cleats during Week 1. The New York Daily News also named Green-Beckham its 'Jerk of the Week.'
