Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver Dorial Green-Beckham used today's free pass on cleats to wear the Adidas Yeezy 350 cleat, which earned several players $6,000 fines when worn during Week 1 of the season. Since then, the model has mostly been on ice, sans the customs laced up by Landon Collins last month. However, Green-Beckham may not avoid a uniform policy violation when it's all said and done.

When asked why he was wearing Yeezy cleats today, Green-Beckham told the media that they're for the "Yeezy Foundation." The problem is the Yeezy Foundation doesn't actually exist, which may mean the wideout didn't have an actual cause on the agenda. According to the NFL, all custom cleat designs being worn today had to be submitted to the league for final approval, and it's not likely that Green-Beckham received the green light on a pair of non-customs for a nonexistent charity.

Perhaps his decision was an effort to shout out Kanye West and Mental Health Awareness while the rapper recovers from his recent stay in the hospital, but that wasn't made clear in the interview. Hopefully the NFL will show a little more leniency following a really exciting weekend of cleat-spotting.
