After some delays, Nike will open its huge new SoHo store on Nov. 18. In a statement issued early Thursday morning, the brand confirmed that Nike Soho (located at 529 Broadway in New York City) will open its doors tomorrow.

"We look forward to bringing New Yorkers the best of Nike at our new Soho store," a spokesperson said. "We are pleased to announce the store will officially open to the general public at 12 p.m. this Friday, November 18."

Nike Soho was originally scheduled to open on Nov. 11, but its opening was pushed back over permitting issues. According to DNA Info, community members have opposed the space as it far exceeds the area's 10,000-square-foot zoning limit on retail stores. Those community members were asking for the building's developer to apply for a special permit to build the 55,000-square-foot Nike store.

A handful of restocks and special product launches are already in the works for Nike Soho.
