Kobe Bryant isn't restricting his final season sneaker giveaways to just NBA players. Yesterday, the Black Mamba hooked hockey great Alexander Ovechkin of the Washington Capitals up with a pair.
The Nike Kobe 11s feature Bryant's autograph that calls Ovechkin "one of the greatest." Bryant also gave him a signed jersey that reads, "To Alex, one of the all time greats!"
Ovechkin's squad is prepping for a road game against the Los Angeles Kings tonight, hence his presence in California.
Per the below Instagram post, Ovechkin also caught up with Novak Djokovic during his time in LA.
