New, detailed photos help us understand this upcoming Nike KD VI colorway more than we did when photos first surfaced on Tuesday.
Aunt Pearl? Nope. The hue technically isn't even pink, but rather Atomic Red, which appears pinkish in photographs. The topographic patterns seemingly link this shoe to meteorology, much like the highly popular "Weatherman" KD IV from 2011. Helping out the black and red style are hits of olive green, which works the tongue, heel and rear part of the outsole.
On a weather map, green represents moderate showers, while red and pink are typically indicative of heavy rain. Much more on the story behind this colorway still to come.
As far as the release goes, expect a drop on Saturday, August 3 for $130. Sizing will run down to infant.
While you wait, enjoy these close-up shots from Long-7.
