As part of Nike Basketball's "Lockout Pack," the brand is set to release the brand new Zoom KD IV in a special "Weatherman" make-up. The shoe pays homage to Durant's fascination with his second career choice as a weatherman.
A bold shade of green is used on the shoe's upper to represent a green screen, while yellow. red and orange weather map-inspired graphics wrap around the heel. Additionally, thermo-mapping scans of KD's actual footprint are visible on the outsole.
Set to officially launch next month, the Zoom KD IV features Hyperfuse construction, Zoom Air cushioning and is the first shoe to make use of Nike's new AdaptiveFit system. With AdaptiveFit, the model uses a synthetic strap that wraps up from the inside of the upper and integrates with the laces for superior support.
The "Weatherman" Nike Zoom KD IV will be released at House of Hoops in limited quantities on Saturday, December 10th.
