As Black Friday nears, many people are beginning to make the tough decisions on what products they will pursue amid the frenzy of crazed soccer moms and discount electronics buyers.
Here is a list of some of Black Friday's biggest sneaker releases, in no particular order:
1. Air Jordan Retro 3 - Black/Cement
One of the year's most anticipated releases, the Black/Varsity Red-Cement Grey Air Jordan Retro 3 returns to retail for the first time since the 2008 Countdown Pack. The retro model is based on what is widely regarded as one of the best Jordan models of all time.
2. Nike Total Air Foamposite Max - Black/Anthracite-Black
The shoe that Tim Duncan made famous, the "Total Foams" return in all black this Friday. The innovative shoe, which originally released in 1998, pairs a Foamposite upper with full-length Max Air. They release on Black Friday at select Nike Sportswear retailers.
3. Undefeated Ballistic Collection
Undefeated and Converse come together for their third ballistic offering. The pack features all-black versions of the Star Player, Academy Low and the A.L.I.C.E. backpack. The collection is available at all Undefeated chapter and web stores on Black Friday.
4. Nike Air Huarache Basketball 2012 - Black
The Huarache returns in hybrid form on Black Friday. While the OG Michigan colorway will release on Black Friday, Nike is also releasing a limited run of the Black/Black-Italy Blue version of the shoe, only at the 21 Mercer store in New York. The 21 Mercer release is limited to 121 pairs.
Supra enters the madness of Black Friday with a sleek "Stealth" version of the Skytop III. The shoe is only available at select retailers (a list in the link above), and is limited to 413 numbered pairs.
6. Under Armour Charge RC - Limited Edition
The Charge RC combines several UA tech features with a bold colorway. The Under Armour performance runner saw a limited release a few months back, and returns on Black Friday at select retailers and on underarmour.com.
7. Nike Air Max JR - Metallic Silver
The Air Max JR arrives on Black Friday in an eye-catching colorway, using a highly reflective Metallic Silver upper with a 360-Max Air sole. Look for the Metallic Silver Air Max JR to release at select Nike Sportswear accounts.
Instead of a particular shoe release on Black Friday, adidas is offering specials at all adidas Originals stores, in addition to the adidas website. Visit the link above for details on the sale, which starts on Thursday and lasts through Cyber Monday.
