Last week, Adidas unveiled Damian Lillard's latest signature sneaker, the Adidas Dame 3. The sneakers feature a handful of references to Lillard's hometown of Oakland, so it was only right that he bring them back to city that raised him.
Along with the Dame 3s, Lillard revisited Oakland High School to unveil improvements to the school for students. The improvements included a updated gym and weight room and a state-of-the-art recording studio for the music program. The efforts to give back to Oakland High School were made possible by Lillard’s All Rise Adidas campaign that aims to support communities through his interests in basketball and music.
While celebrating the unveil, Oakland High School and Adidas surpised Lillard by retiring his high school jersey #1. Check out what Lillard and Adidas hooked up the students with.
