Damian Lillard's next signature sneaker is here. The third in the Portland Trailblazer's Adidas Basketball line is dubbed the Dame 3, a switch from the D Lillard moniker that the first couple sneakers have carried. Similar to Lillard's first two signature Adidas sneakers, the Dame 3 features a Techfit bootie for fit on top of an Adidas Bounce cushioning platform. A new update to the sneaker line is wrapped TPU with an internal Torsion plate at the center of the foot for added stability.
Also on the Dame 3 are a handful of Easter eggs that are tributes to his family and his hometown of Oakland. For example, the latitude and longitude coordinates to his home neighborhood of Brookfield are imprinted on the outriggers of the left and right foot. A tribute to all of the cities where he played basketball for is printed on the sockliner. The initials of his parents and grandparents are molded on the toes of both sneakers.
