These Orthopedic-Looking Fashion Sneakers Cost $445

Why?

It's always amusing to take a look at the world of high-priced fashion sneakers to see what sort of strange things non-traditional sneaker makers are cooking up.

This design, the Monorunner Two Strap from Our Legacy, is certainly an amusing one. The shoe riffs off the grandpa aesthetic of New Balance's work and even goes so far as to borrow the brand's standard tonal grey look. It uses Vibram tooling for its soles, as do some of New Balance's silhouettes.

Most amusing here is the price tag of $445. That's right, these Velcro trainers will cost you over twice what an actual, U.S.-made New Balance would.

If you've got money to blow on this kind of stuff, Tres Bien has got you covered here.
