After it established Primeknit as a performance material, adidas started to show that it was willing to bring the stuff to the lifestyle realm by outfitting retro models with it.
This time around it's taken the adidas Spezial and given it such a makeover, complete with a collar similar to the one found on the NMD. The shoe is more traditional on bottom, where it uses a gum look.
This makeover loses the standard gold text on the side marking the shoe's name, and instead has what looks like a style number along a strip on the heel
The adidas Very Spezial Primeknit isn't available in the U.S. yet, but there are still sizes in-stock at Overkill for readers willing to import a pair.
