Air Jordan 15 (XV)
The Air Jordan 15 debuted in 1999 as the first signature Michael Jordan sneaker to release after his second retirement. Designed by Tinker Hatfield, the Air Jordan 15 was inspired by the X-15 hypersonic jet plane. The sneaker features a Kevlar mesh woven upper, a dynamic fit inner bootie, and Zoom Air in both the heel and the forefoot. The exaggerated tongue on the sneaker is also inspired by Michael Jordan's trademark tongue-out playing style.
