Description
The Nike Air Trainer 1 debuted in 1987 and was designed by Tinker Hatfield. They made their debut on the tennis court by John McEnroe, and became the first cross-training sneaker. The Trainer 1 features a lateral outrigger, midfoot strap, encapsulated Air-Sole unit in the heel and a rubber outsole. One of the most popular Nike Training sneakers of all-time, they have been retroed numerous times in various styles, colorways and versions.
