The Nike Mag was a futuristic sneaker made by Nike for the 1988 film, Back To The Future: Part II. The sneaker was worn by Michael J. Fox's character, Marty McFly, as he traveled into the future of 2015. The sneaker featured power laces, lights, and glow-in-the-dark accents. In 2011, Nike made the sneaker a reality by releasing 1500 pairs exclusively on eBay for charity with all of the proceeds going to the Michael J. Fox Foundation. The Nike Mag returned in 2016 with a self-lacing system modeled after the BTTF movie prop. The sneaker was made available through The Draw on Nike+ in exchange for donations that went to benefit the Michael J. Fox Foundation.
