Founded in 1996 by Kevin Plank, Under Armour is an American sportswear company headquartered in Maryland, USA. Under Armour originally rose to prominence through their innovative base layer and compression apparel engineered for training and Football. Today, Under Armour has expanded far beyond their initial products to offer apparel, sneakers, gear, and accessories for a number of sports that include Soccer, Baseball, Golf, and Basketball. Under Armour's key partners include Tom Brady and Steph Curry through his signature sneaker the Under Armour Curry.
