Vintage Ad: Nike Air Penny III

Today we check out the original ad for the Nike Air Penny III.

In a continuation of yesterday's #1CentDay, today we'll take a look at the original ad for the Nike Air Penny III.  The Air Penny III was the follow up to the famous Foamposite One, with obvious hints still remaining.  The Penny III combines design cues of the Penny I and Foamposite One with a large Foam "wing" as well as Max Air in the heel and Zoom Air in the forefoot.

After the "Phone Number" Nike ads came these "E-mail" ads.  Each ad featured a similar simple photo of a shoe with an appropriate-to-the-sport background and an e-mail address suggesting a Nike signature athlete [I.E. Dan O'Brien Air Max 97 ad].  In this one we see the original "Away" colorway of the Penny III in black and royal with "penny@beinmyposter.com".  Did anybody ever try to contact any of these e-mail addresses?
