One of the most memorable shots in Stephen Curry’s career thus far happened in 2016, when he hit the game-winner from half-court against the Oklahoma City Thunder in an Under Armour Curry 2 PE. That shot resulted in ESPN announcer Mike Breen coining the iconic catchphrase “Bang! Bang!” Now, the once-exclusive colorway is releasing for the first time this week.
Shown here is the “Double Bang!” Under Armour Curry 2 retro that’s dropping globally tomorrow. This reissue is a carbon copy of what Curry wore in 2016, with a golden yellow color scheme and a graphic inspired by a giraffe that nods to Curry’s daughter, Riley’s favorite animal. There’s also a matching “Double Bang!” Curry Flow 10 colorway that’s also dropping alongside the Curry 2 retro.
The “Double Bang!” Under Armour Curry 2 Retro will be released tomorrow, Feb. 24, at UA.com and at select UA retailers. The shoe retails for $150.
