Not only will fans have another opportunity at copping the original colorway next month, but there’s also a new iteration of Tom Sachs’ Nike General Purpose Shoe coming down the pipeline.
Today, official Nike product images of the artist’s General Purpose Shoe have emerged in a new “Dark Sulfur” makeup. This pair dons a predominantly gold color scheme that dresses the entirety of the mesh and suede upper, and adds a white Swoosh on the sides. The shoe also features a touch of orange on the tongue and heel pull tabs before a sail-colored midsole and a black outsole complete the look.
Despite an official look of the shoe leaking, release details for the “Dark Sulfur” colorway of Sachs’ Nike General Purpose Shoe have not yet been announced by the brand. Check back soon to Sole Collector for official details in the coming weeks.
UPDATE (08/25): After product images surfaced last month, we now have official release details on the “Dark Sulfur” colorway of the Tom Sachs x Nike General Purpose Shoe. Per Sachs, the style will be released on Sept. 1 exclusively at Nikecraft.com and at select retailers globally on Sept. 2 for $110.
UPDATE (09/01): While the raffle for the “Archive” Tom Sachs x Nike General Purpose Shoe went live at Nikecraft.com as initially planned today, there has been a slight change in plans for tomorrow’s drop. Select Nike retailers and the SNKRS app in Europe, Asia Pacific, and Latin America are still releasing the shoe tomorrow but SNKRS users in the States and in Greater China will have to wait until Sept. 29 to cop the shoe on the app.
