A shoe that’s quickly been picking up momentum on the aftermarket, Tom Sachs’ Nike General Purpose Shoe has surfaced in a third colorway that’s expected to release.
This pair arrives in chocolatey brown, with a darker hue landing on the laces, Swooshes, and midsole. Black finds a home on the front and rear pull-tabs, along with the outsole to stay consistent with the simple, every-day-wear aesthetic Sachs was aiming for.
A release date for the brown General Purpose Shoe hasn’t been announced, but it should follow the next anticipated launch in “ Dark Sulfur.” Keep an eye out for follow-ups in the months ahead.
UPDATE (02/01): Nike officially confirms that the Tom Sachs’ GPS in brown will be released on Feb. 6 exclusively at Nikecraft.com for $110. A wider release of the shoe will arrive on Feb. 7 via SNKRS and at select Nike stockists.
UPDATE (02/07): Much like the prior “Archive” colorway, Sachs’ “Field Brown” GPS shoe also launched today at select Kohl’s locations. At the time of writing, the store list has not been revealed by the department store, but those interested in copping a pair are urged to follow @Kohls on Instagram for more details.
