These days, you don't have to be a celebrity or major boutique to get a sneaker collab.

Just ask Parisian lifestyle blogger, Sophie Trem. She instantly became a fan of K-Swiss during a trip to California as a teen. While on the vacation, she saw the K-Swiss Classic all over people's feet, which was a very different from what she was used to seeing back home in Paris. Today she continues to rep the brand, and was offered the opportunity to put her own twist on the flagship model.

The sneaker comes in the an all-white colorway which features a compass logo on the tongue,  similar to the one tattooed on her own wrist. The tattoo stands for her own direction in life, rather than a traditional compass that points north, south, east or west. "You should listen to yourself, your instincts, and go to the places you want to go," says Trem. For the design of the compass on the sneaker, Paris-based tattoo artist Walter Hego was brought in to make it represent the journey K-Swiss is currently on. For a final touch, the sneaker reads, "The Other Art Of Living" stitched in black on the heels.

The Other Art Of Living x K-Swiss Classic is available now exclusively at colette.
