When the opposing team's best and only NBA players include Al Horford and Francisco Garcia, and they shoot a combined 1-15 from the floor, chances are it's not going to be much of a competitive game against the best and brightest suiting up for the US Men's National Team.

Behind 24 points and 10 rebounds from Kevin Durant (in just 22 minutes), the US squad took care of business in their first exhbition outing with a 54-point win over the Dominican Republic. Yes, they won by 54 points. Things were competitive when the DR took a 4-2 lead early on, and then the game was entirely out of hand the rest of the way.
