First spotted last week, here's a closer look at a possible upcoming signature training shoe for Robert Griffin III.
The mid-cut silhouette is harnessed by a reversible cross-strap, falling in line with classic training models of the past. Perforated synthetic construction enhances breathability and comfort. Highly touted Boost cushioning is worked into the tooling for optimum energy return. A flexible rubber outsole supports multi-directional movement.
There's also a few RG3-specific details visible on this prototype. First, an 'RGIII' logo on the tongue that makes use of adidas' famous 3-Stripes. Strangely, the logo differs from RG3's official logo and doesn't appear on the blue colorway we previewed last week. It's possible we won't see it used beyond this sample. There's also Griffin's 'No Pressure, No Diamonds' quote and 'Designed for Robert Griffin the Third' printed along the iridescent strap.
Again, this is just a prototype, so the trainer will likely look different by the time it hits retail. If it hits retail. We'll continue to follow the story here at Sole Collector.
