Release Date: Air Jordan Retro 4 - Military Blue

Adding to an already-stacked summer, the "Military Blue" Air Jordan 4 will hit retailers in June.

words // Brandon Richard

With this year marking the 23rd Anniversary of the Air Jordan 4, the Jordan Brand is expected to roll out MJ's fourth sig in all of the original colorways, complete with retro-style packaging and hang tags. One of the shoes making a comeback is the popular "Military Blue" colorway, which last dropped in Summer 2006. Judging by the photo that leaked back in September, the 2012 retro will look fairly similar to the pair that dropped six years ago. There are some notable elements missing from the early sample that have turned up on more recent pairs, including the use of grey on the lace tabs and toebox overlay. Whether or not they bring back the plastic "wings" still seems to be up in the air.

Adding to an already-stacked summer, the "Military Blue" Air Jordan 4 will hit retailers on Saturday, June 9. Retail starts at $160 in men's sizes and runs down to infant.
