Before Shaquille O'Neal called it quits on his 19-year playing career, he spent one final season in the NBA as a member of the Boston Celtics. The self-proclaimed "Big Shamrock" had some success early in his run with the Cs, but was sidelined later in the season with injuries, including an Achilles problem that required season-ending surgery and ultimately forced him to hang up his sneakers for good.

Though Shaq's career didn't end the way we all would have liked, Reebok salutes his final chapter with this Celtics-inspired make-up of the Shaqnosis. The shoe features a shamrock-printed synthetic base, dark green suede overlays and metallic gold embroidery. White breaks up the look on the laces and midsole, which sits atop a black rubber outsole.

As of now, there is no official drop date for the "Celtics" Shaqnosis, but the obvious St. Patrick's Day connection and Shaq's birthday make March 2014 as good a guess as any. We'll continue to follow the story and provide you with updates here at Sole Collector.
