Reebok Still Selling Frank Thomas Sneakers Despite Lawsuit

Just another 90s trainer.

A little more than a year after its expected release date, the Reebok Big Hurt is finally available to the public. However, because of Frank Thomas' pending lawsuit against Reebok, it's not the traditional retail launch.

The shoe is currently stocked in the OG black and white-based colorways at Reebok outlets for $60. According to @freddy_war, who grabbed both, the 'Big Hurt' printed insoles have been replaced and the box tag sticker is covered with another that reads 'Reebok Tech 90s Trainer.' With an in-store discount, he grabbed his pairs for $39 each. There's also been reports of a buy one, get one 50% off deal at the outlets.

In his lawsuit against Reebok, Thomas alleges that Reebok used his Big Hurt trademark beyond the parameters of their agreement. Reebok reportedly filed a counter suit, claiming that none of the advertising for the shoe mentions Thomas and that the Hall of Famer took too long to provide proper documentation. The case is ongoing.
