Palace Skateboards and New Balance will follow up their MT580 collabs from last year with yet another two-shoe project dropping this week.
Shown here are the two Palace x New Balance Made in UK 991 styles arriving this Friday. The multi-colored sneakers are equipped with water-resistant materials on the upper including the ballistic mesh underlay panels and coupled with premium suede overlay panels. Additional details include co-branding embroidered on the tongue while “P991” lace locks are attached at the forefoot. Cushioning the underfoot is the plush Azsorb midsole while a black-based outsole sits below.
Aside from the sneakers, this Palace and New Balance collab will include a matching apparel collection featuring co-branded jackets, sweaters, shorts, and hats.
Coinciding with the products, Palace created a short film that shows cavemen in the Stone Age on their discovery of fire and the Palace x New Balance 991.
Readers will be able to cop these Palace x New Balance 991 styles starting on May 12 at palaceskateboards.com and at Palace stores for $260.
UPDATE (05/15): After releasing exclusively through Palace last week, New Balance confirms that their 991 collabs are dropping again on Friday, May 19, at newbalance.com for $260.
