Packer Shoes isn't stopping at the sneakers when it comes to celebrating the 20th anniversary of Raekwon's "purple tape" album, Only Built 4 Cuban Linx....
Coinciding with Thursday's release of the Packer x Raekwon x Diadora N.9000 "Purple Tape" sneaker, the ice cream truck pictured here will be rolling around the streets of NYC, hopefully serving up French vanilla, butter pecan, and chocolate deluxe. Caramel sundaes may or may not be getting touched in the process.
For anyone foolish enough not to have partaken in OB4CL, the reference here is to the album's "Ice Cream."
Watch for the "Purple Tape" Diadoras ($200) to launch on Thursday, Aug. 20 at S.O.B.'s in NYC from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Raekwon himself will be in the building for the launch.
