Obviously There'd Be A Bape Wedge Dunk For The Ladies

While its clothing may have sparked several trends, Bape is up to its old tricks with this latest "inspired-by" silhouette.

Bape is an enigma.

The brand is credited with creating one of the most beloved camo patterns in streetwear history, with (no matter if you liked it or not) kicking off the full zip hoody trend of the mid 2000s and they also helped bridge the gap between Japanese street fashion and American pop culture.

But pretty much 100% of their sneakers blatantly recycle existing design lines from the footwear world's most iconic models.

Air Force 1s. Dunks. Chuck Taylors. Puma Clydes. Superstars.

They've all been copied -- and in some cases done better than the original -- so this latest launch from the brand should come as no surprise.

After Nike has enjoyed the success of its repurposed Dunk with an inner wedge heel lift that somehow became a popular reality, Bape is picking right on up on the surging trend.

For the sweet price of $277, you can hop over to Bape.com and cop your girl a pair of Bape Wedge Dunks.
