New York City-based streetwear brand Noah has joined forces with Puma to rework the classic Clyde sneaker.
The project between the two entities includes three premium made-in-Japan versions of the low-top model, donning three seasonal “Mustard Seed,” “New Navy,” and “Green Gables” colorways. This refined variation of the Clyde features a slightly less bulky aesthetic as the foam that’s typically placed between the upper and sock liner has been removed. Additionally, this version also features a lower profile along with an almond shape in the toe designed to closer resemble the silhouette’s original 1971 release. Noah branding also appears on the tongue tag as well as on the heel.
The Noah x Puma Clyde collection will be released tomorrow, March 16, at noahny.com and at Noah’s flagship store in New York City for $190 each. The collab will launch at Noah Clubhouse in Tokyo, Noah Noodleshop in Osaka, and Dover Street Market Ginza on March 18.
