Growing up in Cleveland as a Pistons fan left me as conflicted as a game ever has, during Game 5 of the 2007 Eastern Conference Finals. On one had, I was witnessing what felt like the beginning of the end of the Pistons' successful mid-2000s era. But on the other hand, LeBron was putting together an all-time memorable performance for my "actual" home team. I'll never forget how I felt, rooting for the Pistons, but in the back of my mind, hoping LeBron could pull it off.
