For anyone who feels that the coming Kobe 11 is too similar to previous entries in the Nike Kobe line, this takedown model should do the trick as far as pointing things in a new direction.
The model, called the Nike Zoom Kobe Icon, should launch by January of 2016. The tooling appears to be the same as that of the Kobe 6, while the upper is a shrouded affair that calls to mind sneakers like The Glove and the Jordan XX8.
According to J23, the gold colorway here will release on Jan. 15, 2016. No word yet on a release date for the black/white pair.
