Ishod Wair has received several of his own SB Dunk colorways in the past, but none of them are quite as significant as what he’s dropping next with Nike SB.
Arriving this week is the pro skater’s first signature shoe, the Nike SB Ishod Wair. According to the brand, Wair borrowed design elements from classic ‘90s basketball shoes for this silhouette and combined them with the brand’s latest innovations to meet the demands of today’s skaters.
The shoe’s standout detail is the vulcanized cupsole that provides shock absorption and protection while the rubber mesh panels on the predominantly suede upper offer both breathability and flexibility. Wair’s name also appears on the tongue and footbed while the reverse Swoosh branding is stamped on the heel.
The Nike SB Ishod Wair will be released tomorrow, Jan. 7 at Nike.com and at select Nike SB stockists. The shoe will retail for $100.
