It turns out that the “Florida A&M” LeBron 7 dropping next month isn’t the only colorway from the HBCU that Nike is releasing.
New imagery shared by @Karatekickz23 on Twitter yesterday shows that a green-based makeup of James’ signature seventh shoe is also hitting retail soon.
Like the initial pair, the shoe features official FAMU Rattlers branding on the tongue, with the school’s snake logo stamped on the medial side. The rest of the silhouette is covered with a premium green suede upper, with vibrant orange accents appearing on the Swoosh and within the midsole’s full-length Air unit.
In 2021, Nike entered a multi-year partnership with the Florida A&M University Athletics, supplying the players at the HBCU with footwear, uniforms, and apparel for six years.
Per @Karatekickz23, this green-based “Florida A&M” LeBron 7 will be released sometime in 2023, but the release details have yet to be announced.
