In just their second game of the season, the Oregon Ducks men's basketball team decided to flex their Nike connection with special pairs of the KD 8.
Unlike so many other player exclusive styles floating around the NCAA, this pair is more than a simple NIKEiD design. The sneaker has trees decorating its upper in a look that mimics the graphics found on the Ducks' home court at Matthew Knight Arena (The trees themselves are a reference to the "Oregon Tall Firs" nickname of the 1938-39 Oregon team).
If previous seasons are any indication, this Nike KD sneaker is the first in a long line of exclusive shoes created for the University of Oregon this year.
