The resurgence of OG-styled Nike Dunks continues with the classic two-tone colorway making its way back to sneaker shelves soon.
The next iteration of the Dunk High to launch is this white and red makeup pictured here. This iteration was originally released as part of the brand’s “Be True To Your School” program in 1985 and was inspired by the team colors of St. John’s University. Despite its connection to the institution, there are no official markings on the shoe connecting it to the Red Storm. The shoe dons a white-based leather upper that’s coupled with university red hits on the overlay panels and a solid red outsole.
As of now, retailers like Finish Line currently have this “Championship Red” Dunk Highs dropping on March 1 although it’s possible that this is a placeholder date. Check back soon to Sole Collector for updates.
UPDATE (05/04): Nike has confirmed on the SNKRS release calendar that the “Championship Red” Dunk High is officially dropping via the app on May 17 for $115.
