Nike has big plans for the Air Max 1 in 2023. Not only is the iconic running model releasing in its original big bubble form for the first time ever, the brand also plans to drop the shoe in new styles, including this corduroy pair shown here courtesy of Fullress.

The brand switches up the silhouette’s traditional mesh and nubuck upper with an entirely corduroy construction for this “Baltic Blue” colorway. The sneaker also features tan accents on the Swoosh and tongue tag, but on the bottom is a sail midsole and a black outsole.

In addition, Nike is also expected to release a new version of the “Shima Shima” Air Max 1 from 2003 sometime this year.

At the time of writing, a release date for this “Baltic Blue” Air Max 1 has yet to be announced but the shoe will be available exclusively at Nike’s “neighborhood” retail partners.
