With the Nike Air Bakin on tap to be a part of the epic retro festivities set to go down in 2014, it looks like the classic basketball model has inspired another classic silhouette to change its appearance. The Nike Air Force 1 is no stranger to undergoing a makeover to mimic the look of select releases. From the “Weatherman” to the “The Glove”, the AF1 has had no trouble entrenching itself in whatever role the creative minds over at Nike cast it in. Up next for the AF1 High will indeed be a Nike Air Bakin-inspired look. In taking cues from Tim Hardaways days as a member of the Golden State Warriors, the shoe sports a clean Warriors-like color scheme that definitely complements the team out in Oakland rather well. Fully equipped with nubuck overlays about the upper, round laces and a heel logo inspired by the Bakin's OG heel insignia, the icy/translucent sole is the icing on this sneaker metamorphosis cake. Despite no release information being available at the moment, which shouldn’t come as a surprise, one could assume that Nike may hold off on dropping these until next year so the release correlates with the actual Bakin retro. Speculation aside, once new info surfaces, we will indeed be sure to pass it on to all of you sneakerheads out there.
