With the NBA All-Star Game returning to Orlando for the first time since 1992, Anfernee "Penny" Hardaway is expected to play a large role in the weekend's festivities. To celebrate the return of arguably the most popular player in the history of the Orlando Magic franchise, Nike Sportswear will be including a few Penny models in their All-Star "Galaxy Pack." Joining the multicolor Air Foamposite One that Gentry Humphrey wore at the Sole Collector x Penny Rookie Launch Event in Las Vegas will be the returning Nike Air Flight One, seen here in a limited Quickstrike "Galaxy" colorway.
Though the Air Flight One is not an official member of the Penny Hardaway signature series, the model is most remembered in the Orlando Magic colorway that Penny rocked in the later stages of the 1995 season. An entirely different approach was taken with this colorway, adding glow-in-the-dark details to a grey-based style. Glowing elements of the shoe, which include the spheres and outsole, are meant to represent space and the stars.
