In celebration of the 36th anniversary of Black History Month, Nike is gearing up to release a limited edition collection with Black History Month sneakers from both NSW and Nike Basketball.
The Black History Month collection celebrates the success of three teams: The '96 USA Basketball Women's team, the 2008 Brazil Men's Soccer team and the 2008 Kenyan Long-Distance Running team. The entire collection follows the same theme, utilizing a unique pattern inspired by the vibrant colors of International African culture.
Releasing with matching apparel, the Nike Sportswear collection will include the Air Force 1 Low, Air Max 1, Huarache Free Run And Blazer High. Nike Basketball headlines this year's celebration of Black History Month with the LeBron 9, Zoom KD IV and Kobe VII all displaying the same color scheme and vibrant pattern.
The Nike 2012 Black History Month Collection is scheduled to release February 11th at select retailers nationwide.
