Nick Young just learned an important lesson in endorsement relationship management on social media.
It all started when the Los Angeles Laker let his Twitter followers know that he'd be taking some time out for a quick Q&A. As Young is a known sneakerhead, it should have been expected that someone would ask him about his footwear. In a tweet that's since been deleted, a user asked him about his brand preference.

Nick Young has been signed with Nike in the past, but it's unclear if he currently has a contract with the Swoosh. Either way, commenting that he only cares about whichever shoe brand will pay him more is obviously a no-no. Young quickly deleted the tweet, probably at the urging of his management. Fortunately, Swaggy P left some sneaker fashion advice up there during the Q&A.
