This year will mark the 40th anniversary of the 990 sneaker and kicking off the celebrations is this “Vegan Friendly Made” New Balance 990V5 pictured here. The shoe is constructed of fully vegan materials, including embossed synthetic and mesh, both donning a tonal grey color scheme. The sustainable design includes a white Encap rubber midsole and a grey rubber outsole.
